The climates of Spain

If you travel around Spain, you will find regions where it rains a lot and other regions where it rains very little. The summers are very hot in some regions and are mild in others. Several factors explain these variations in climate:

• Distance from the sea
• Altitude and relief

As a result of these differences, Spain has five types of climate: Mediterranean, Continental Mediterranean, Oceanic, Subtropical and Mountain.

Making a volcano

Year 5 pupils have finished the didactic unit about the "Earth" and they have made their own volcanos in groups as a final task.

Taller de robòtica 6è

Un cop acabat el tema de "Science" sobre "machines" amb els grups de 6è. Avui hem pogut fer la cloenda del tema amb una activitat especial. Han vingut alumnes i professors de secundària de l'INS Gili Gaya i hem tingut l'oportunitat de poder treballar amb robots. 

L’objectiu de l’activitat és que els nois i noies siguin capaços de desenvolupar un projecte dissenyant i programant models basats en l’equipament LEGO, mindstorms, EV3.

En un primer moment, hem experimentat amb construccions i programacions senzilles per conèixer els conceptes mecànics i el llenguatge de programació.

Hem utilitzat l’ordinador per crear programes i enviar-los al robot per a la seva execució.

Hem treballat amb grups reduïts i hem disposat d’equipaments amb tots els dispositius necessaris.
