The climates of Spain

If you travel around Spain, you will find regions where it rains a lot and other regions where it rains very little. The summers are very hot in some regions and are mild in others. Several factors explain these variations in climate:

• Distance from the sea
• Altitude and relief

As a result of these differences, Spain has five types of climate: Mediterranean, Continental Mediterranean, Oceanic, Subtropical and Mountain.

Machines

Year 6 pupils have finished the unit about machines and as usual they have done a final product.

They have made different machines with recycled materials. They are all different machines with different purposes.

We would like to congratulate our pupils because they are very motivated and they have seen the importance of machines in our everyday life.
