If you travel around Spain, you will find regions where it
rains a lot and other regions where it rains very little. The summers are very
hot in some regions and are mild in others. Several factors explain these
variations in climate:
- Distance from the sea
- Altitude and relief
As a result of these differences, Spain has five types of
climate: Mediterranean, Continental
Mediterranean, Oceanic, Subtropical and Mountain.
